Edoardo Sinibaldi (Team Leader)

Biographyedoardo_sinibaldi

Edoardo Sinibaldi received his Laurea degree in Aerospace Engineering [magna cum laude] from the University of Pisa in 2002 (final-year project on computational geometry carried out during a six-month internship at Rolls-Royce plc, Derby, UK). He received a Ph.D. in Mathematics for Technology and Industry [magna cum laude] from the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, in 2006 (research focused on numerical schemes for non-linear hyperbolic conservation laws on unstructured grids; working experience also developed in high-performance computing). In 2006 he joined the CRIM Lab of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, holding a post-doctoral position until October 2009 (research mainly focused on theoretical modeling and numerical simulation of fluids and complex systems: bio-mechanical, micro-mechanical and bio-inspired robotic systems; working experience also developed in project management, in particular in the context of EU FP6 and FP7 projects). ] He is with the Center for Micro-BioRobotics of the Italian Institute of Technology since November 2009, formerly as Senior Post-Doc, currently as Team Leader; his research is mainly focused on microrobotic systems for biomedical applications.
